Kel Mitchell became famous for his role in Kenan & Kel which ran from 1996 to 2000. He also starred in Good Burger, the movie version of his and Kenan's sketches from All That. Today, he's been focusing on his music career doing several parodies.
Outside of his ventures with Kenan Thompson, Mitchell was the voice of a mild-mannered and playful dog named T-Bone in the children's cartoon series Clifford the Big Red Dog from 2000 to 2003 alongside the late John Ritter. The series airs in syndication on PBS. In 2006, he was hired as spokesmodel for KFC, constantly using the phrase "____ a little". Additionally he also made an appearance in the 2004 Kanye West music video All Falls Down as a luggage collecting hotel valet. In 2005, Mitchell portrayed Manny Sellers in the sitcom One on One with Kyla Pratt. In 2007 Kel started in BET's new series Take the Cake.
Kel Mitchell has also been focusing on his music career. In 1996 he was a featured rapper on Immature's Billboard Hot 100 Top 40 hit "Watch Me Do My Thang". On his official MySpace page, he has done several parodies in Weird Al Yankovic-fashion of hit songs including, "Scariest Girl" which is a parody of "Beautiful Girls" by Sean Kingston, "Hot Grease Poppin" which is a parody of "Big Things Poppin' (Do It)" by T.I., 'Same Curl" which A parody of "Same Girl By R. Kelly And Usher Raymond. In "Same Curl", he makes fun of Michael Jackson's curly hair in the 80s from his Thriller days.
