Lex & Lana
At the beginning of the series, Lex and Lana formed a quick friendship. Soon it became a partenership when they went into business together, and the Talon became a strong point of their relationship. Lana has always looked to Lex for help, and he pulls through and helps her everytime.
By season 3, they had formed a strong bond, where she could confide in him with her problems, whether it be about Clark or her parents. Their relationship became rocky in season four because his "over protection" and her need to be able to make decisions without anyone's help. Mid season four it became obvious that Lex had feelings for Lana that go beyond friendship, but never persue anything for the sake of not losing her.
Recently, with growing curiousity about the ship Lana discovered, her and Lex started working on working out this mystery, spending more time together. With Clark and Lana's breaking up for good, Lana confides in Lex more, and she begins to having feelings for him too, finally giving their relationship a chance.
